Kids say the darndest things...ain't that the truth?!?! I figured I better immediately (or at least try to) blog about the things my kids say or do...it's the things that make me laugh which in turn makes them giggle. Nothing is more satisfying the sound of a child's laughter (at school that is)...
I had my kids do this fact & opinion activity where they found a picture from a magazine then wrote facts & opinions about those pictures. It's pretty funny some of the opinions these kids write..
When looking at a girl in a dress a student writes as his opinion: "She doesn't fit in the dress. She needs a new one."
When looking at kings in a tomb a student write as her opinion: "This is the ugliest thing I have ever seen!!"
When looking at a cat crossing it's legs with it's paws in front of it's area a student writes: "The kitty had to go to the litter box." Ok....she wrote that as her fact which is of course wrong, but it was HILARIOUS!
Things like that remind me why I love teaching & why my job is so rewarding...
Art time! Finally! I need a break from these little snots!
